Your Seattle Families of Multiples Board had our 2nd annual retreat on October 2nd, and enjoyed a very productive day discussing club benefits, events, and general business. We reviewed the results of the 2015-2016 Year End Survey that many of you completed last summer (thank you!) and discussed what was going well, as well as areas that could use improvement. We also spent a good amount of time discussing our overall communications strategy, and came up with a plan that includes a monthly digest email of events, periodic outreach for new volunteers, as well as better consistency across Big Tent, the SFOM public website, and our Facebook pages.
Your SFOM Board is made up of volunteer twin and triplet parents who care deeply about our mission. Many thanks to Angela Smith, AnneMarie Kuhnau, Natalie Saint-Johnson, Diane Wies, Katrina Alexander-Stern, Anna Smith, Marloes Koning, Carolyn Hostetler, and Heather Pillsbury for giving their time at the retreat to help improve the way we serve our members. We are so lucky to have such a wide array of talents and enthusiasm from all of our Board members! We are looking forward to the rest of our year!
Board Meetings are open to all members; if you’re a member interested in attending, we would love to have you and meeting dates are always posted on our Events Page.
